Publisher content & AI summaries
PaperShelter crawls public RSS/Atom feeds you choose and shows original headlines, sources, dates, short excerpts and AI-generated summaries that link back to the original article. We do not reproduce publishers' full article text to readers, and full extracted text is deleted within 7 days (used only internally to write summaries). Summaries are machine-generated and may contain errors — always read the original for full details.
Takedown & removal requests
We respect publisher rights. If you are a publisher (or rights holder) and would like a source excluded or specific content removed, email hello@papershelter.com with the details. We honour robots.txt, and we act on removal and exclusion requests promptly. See /bot for how our crawler works.
The service
PaperShelter assembles a personalised daily newspaper from the news sources and article links you choose, using AI to summarise and lay out the content. Editions, including kids editions, are generated for your personal, non-commercial use.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and use a valid email. You must be old enough to consent to these terms in your country.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.
- Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
- Content from third-party publishers remains the property of its owners; PaperShelter surfaces it for your personal reading.
Trials and subscriptions
New accounts receive a free trial. After the trial, continued access may require a paid subscription. Payments are handled by Razorpay and, where applicable, renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Content and AI
AI-generated summaries may contain errors or omissions. PaperShelter is a reading aid, not a substitute for the original sources, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any summary.
Availability
We aim for reliable daily editions but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Publisher feeds may change or become unavailable, which can affect the content of your editions.
Termination
You may stop using PaperShelter and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, PaperShelter is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
